About This Course
Introduction
A course that reviews the basic topics and skills to guide whale watching tours in Northern Norway, complemented with conferences to hear the latest updates from local researchers.
The course is divided in three: knowledge from nature and social context, guiding skills and sciences and collaboration.The specific content can be seen below.
Workflow
One week before the training, registered participants will have access to digital learning materials so they can start learning on their own.
The course will take place during the given dates at Polaria. There, participants will review their skills and knowledge.
On the final day of the course there will be a theoretical exam. Passing the exam is mandatory to receive the pre-accreditation.
