You probably know NRK—but how much do you know about what happens behind the scenes at Norway’s public broadcaster? 👀
Join NRK Nord-Norge at their Tromsø offices for a special Welcome Week visit to get to know NRK from the inside.
From its northern studios, NRK produces news, documentaries, children’s programmes, and more, telling stories from Northern Norway to audiences locally and across the country.
During the visit, you’ll learn about NRK and the Norwegian media landscape, the role of a free press and public broadcasting in Norway, and how NRK works to tell the stories of the north.
And, of course, you’ll get to go behind the scenes: visit NRK’s studios and facilities in Tromsø and meet some of the people behind the work.
Whether you’re new to Norway, have lived here for years, or are simply curious to learn more about Norwegian media and society, you’re welcome to join.
The visit is free and will be held in both English and Norwegian. Registration is required in advance and places are limited.
