The course covers topics including:
– Norwegian traffic rules and local driving etiquette
– How to prepare for a journey in Arctic conditions
– Preparing and equipping your car, including rental vehicles
– Winter tyres, snow and ice, and other aspects of vehicle preparation
– How to deal with changing winter road conditions
– Adapting your speed to Arctic winter conditions and available road grip
– Snowdrifts, snowbanks, narrow roads and tunnels
– Convoy driving and dealing with closed roads or cancelled ferries
– Driving safely around heavy vehicles and vulnerable road users
– What to do in the event of an accident
– Emergency preparedness and communication with emergency services
– Respectful and responsible driving around local communities, nature and wildlife

Online and flexible
The course is fully online and takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete. It consists of 10 modules with short lessons and video content, making it possible to complete the training at your own pace.

A certificate of completion is provided after completing the course.

Course price
The regular price is €49, but the course is currently available at the discounted price of €29.
