The Tromsø Guideforening board meeting on 5 September 2025 focused on the continued reactivation of the association and defining its role in today’s guiding and tourism landscape in Tromsø.
Discussions highlighted the need for a professional platform that represents guides across different types of guiding, including nature-based, city, and Northern Lights guiding. It was agreed that TGF should work toward improving professional standards while remaining inclusive and realistic, especially given the seasonal nature of guiding work in Tromsø.
