15:00-18:00 Saturday, 1st June
Church Art and Norway's transition from Catholic to Protestant at the Tromsø Museum followed by cake + coffee
Following the success and great feedback from the event on the Old Sami exhibit in 2011 and Sápmi - Becomin a Nation in 2012, we are lucky enough to have Per Helge Nygård again this year to give us some extra info about the church art exhibitions.
This is a great exhibit to really show off your knowledge to the guests, so come and get some extra nuggets of information and socialize with other guides!!
13:30-15:30 Sunday, 7th July
Interactive quiz at the Botanical Gardens
We are going to explore the Botanical Garden in a fun way, with stories about the plants to help us learn some of the names! The quiz will take about one hour and we will organsie snacks and warm drinks afterwards. There will also be a little award for the winner team too J
In case that the weather is going to be very bad, we might come up with an alternative program.
18:00 Wednesday, 14th August
End of season BBQ trip at the top Fjellheisen
Meet up at the Cable Car in Tromsdalen. If you bring your TGF or AGS/Farout ID card you get free entry on the cable car. We will provide the BBQ's, some meat, veg and salad. Bring anything else you might want to eat and drinks.
Let us know if you want to walk up, in which case you might want to set off a little earlier ;)
